LOVE THE CITY – Foodbank Volunteering

In 2023, as part of Praise Centre’s Love The City initiative, our community held a walk-tastic event to raise funds for Foodbank Australia, an organisation that aims to fight hunger by sourcing food for people in need.

All of the funds raised from this event were to bless the community through this charity. Every $1 donated to Foodbank would provide 2 meals, and every $1000 donated would allow our community to send up to 10 of our members to volunteer at Foodbank in 2024.

Thanks to the generosity of those who participated in the Praise Centre Walk-tastic, we raised $3500 for Foodbank Australia!

This year, we are sending up to 20 members of our community to volunteer at Foodbank.
